Feature: The Rideshare Tool

CitizenShipper’s Rideshare Tool helps you quickly find shipments with pick-up and drop-off locations near the route you’re already viewing.

This feature is designed to help you combine multiple shipments into a single trip. By doing so, you can increase your overall earnings and offer more competitive bids to customers.

When browsing new shipping jobs, you’ll see the Rideshare Tool just below the list of current bids, under the “Make more profit” heading.

The tool displays up to five suggested rideshare opportunities - shipments that align closely with your selected route. Each suggestion includes the additional miles required, making it easy to evaluate whether it’s a good fit. For example, if your original shipment runs from Texas to West Virginia, the suggested rideshares will have pick-up and drop-off locations along or near that route.

Clicking on any suggested shipment will take you to its listing page, where you can place a bid or message the customer just as you normally would.

Adding more shipments to your route can help you save time and fuel. This efficiency allows you to increase your profit while potentially lowering your bids, making your offers more appealing and improving your chances of winning jobs.
