Welcome to CitizenShipper! Your first step to success as a driver on this platform is learning how to navigate your dashboard.
From your dashboard, you can:
- Find new shipments
- Message potential customers
- Place bids on shipments
- Filter shipments by category and geography
- Set up your preferred routes
- Manage all other settings
Each time you log into your account, you will land on the home page. Here, you'll see shipments listed under your Recommended tab—these are jobs that match your selected shipping categories and are available in your home state (determined by your sign-up location). The listings you see in this section are also personalized based on the preferences you've set in your Notifications settings.
We provide you with this list early on to show you how many customers are looking for a driver near your current location.
Keep in mind that the Recommended tab includes shipments posted within the last two weeks by customers still searching for a driver. Booked, expired, or deleted shipments are automatically removed.
If you want to explore all available shipments across different states and categories, select the "Open" tab in the navigation menu. This will show all active listings that are still pending to be booked.
The HOME screen contains six key tabs:
- Recommended – Displays shipments tailored to your preferences.
- Open – Lists all active, unbooked shipments on the marketplace.
- Active – Shows shipments where you have placed a bid.
- Booked – Displays shipments you’ve won.
- Delivered – Keeps a record of completed shipments.
- Canceled – Tracks shipments that were not completed.
In addition to these tabs, you’ll find five essential menu options:
- #1 Settings wheel – located in the top-right corner, this silver “wheel” icon opens a submenu with the following options:
Settings - manage notifications, categories, account preferences, billing, verifications and profile details.
Payment - if the Secure Payment Program is available to you, this tab allows you to onboard with Stripe Connect and start receiving payments through this program. If you’re already onboarded, you’ll see a button linking to your Payments Dashboard.
Intro - set different intro messages depending on the shipment category.
Log out - allows you to log out of the site.
- #2 Profile - displays how your profile appears to your customers. Access it by clicking on your profile photo (which is not set in the example) next to the settings wheel on the left.
- #3 Messages - access all conversations with your customers.
- #4 Routes - a feature that allows you to filter notifications for new shipments along a certain route.
- #5 Shipment search tool - a feature that allows you to search for shipments based on pickup and drop-off locations, category, and date range, regardless of your original settings. Pickup and delivery locations can be specified on a city, county, or state level.
