As noted in other articles, CitizenShipper does not mediate transactions between transporters ("drivers") and their shipping customers ("shippers"). The platform allows these two sides to connect. Any agreements or contracts between the two parties are handled independently.
That said, we’ve included a Driver-Shipper Job Agreement template at the end of this article as an example of the type of document you might consider adopting in your business. It can serve as a starting point when outlining the terms of a transport job. Before adopting or modifying any contract, we strongly recommend consulting with a qualified legal professional.
Please keep in mind that CitizenShipper is not involved and does not have access to the particulars of any agreements you enter into with the customers. The template provided is meant to illustrate what a transport agreement might look like.
