On CitizenShipper, we encourage open and transparent communication between shippers and drivers. We want you to be able to iron out every last detail before deciding whether or not to book a particular transporter.
Our messaging platform keeps a record of all the messages you exchange with drivers. Should any issue arise, we refer to this record as part of our dispute mediation process, to guarantee fair and honest dealing in all transactions.
That’s why it’s vital to keep all communication onsite. If you exchange contact information with a driver before booking them, you’re discussing terms of transport away from the CitizenShipper platform. This prevents us from protecting your interests and mediating any potential dispute, which is why contact exchange before the booking is against our Terms of Service.
We strongly encourage you to stay on the platform and enjoy the security it provides. For further details, please address all questions to firstname.lastname@example.org.
