CitizenShipper allows you to take on almost any kind of shipment – from pets to vehicles, motorcycles and boats to household moves.
In most cases, however, you'll only be interested and equipped for making deliveries in one or few specific types of categories. To update this setting, go to your Notification settings page. Here's what you'll see:
Below your general SMS and email notification settings, you should find a box where you can type and choose one of our 12 different shipping categories you wish to be notified about such as Pets and Animals, Motorcycles, Vehicles, Boats and Water Vehicles and others. When done, scroll all the way to the bottom of your screen and click the Save Settings button.
Here's how these settings impact your experience on the CitizenShipper platform:
- We filter shipments so that you're only notified of those belonging to the categories you typed and saved.
- On the Recommended tab of your home page, only the chosen categories will be visible.
- If you later decide you're interested in additional categories, just visit the Notification Settings page, add a new category, and you're all set.
Please make sure to also check out the top of your Notification settings, to choose when and how you'll be notified of a shipment that appears within your selected categories (typically by email or text message).
