How Do I Book a Driver?

Booking a driver is quick and easy with CitizenShipper. As soon as you list your shipment, we'll notify our trusted transporters about your shipment listing. And soon after, they will start placing bids on your shipment.

Whenever a driver bids on your shipment, they send you a quote. We let you know when this happens via text message or email notifications:

By clicking the links in your notification, you can review the driver's quote or start exchanging messages with them.

Once you're sure you want to book this driver, simply click Book now. This takes you to a screen where you can review your expenses and click Continue to see the checkout screen.

The amounts shown above are just an example, of course. The driver fee will vary depending on which bid you've accepted, and the CitizenShipper Booking Fee is calculated based on that amount, for some shipment categories such as pets, the Booking Fee will be calculated based on the shipment's mileage.
